The Mushroom Machine Company are currently in a period of significant growth globally with multiple orders for the Gamechanger Pro. As a result of this growth the company are in the process of a recruitment drive to appoint the correct personnel to assist with this increased demand.
The Mushroom Machine Company have now been recognised and awarded the Platinum Level Innovator Award by Innovate NI due to its ongoing investment in Research and Development, designing and manufacturing innovative products for use in Mushroom Farms globally.
Innovate NI is a Department for the Economy programme which helps local businesses throughout their innovation journey and is delivered by Invest Northern Ireland. The Accreditation Programme was launched by the Department for the Economy to encourage companies with innovation led programmes helping them along the way.
The award focuses on how companies have followed the Innovation framework successfully including generating new ideas, developing and testing your innovation, launching it to the industry, and creating value for both the company and customers.
The Gamechanger is a one person operated, Semi-robotic mushroom harvesting aid that is designed to handle punnets/tills, with all the main functions easily controlled from a central point that can double picking rate, improve presentation and increase yield. It does this by accurately trimming stalks, placing mushrooms in punnets/tills, weighing punnets/tills and capturing the data.
