The Gamechanger Pro has been designed to be operated by users of different countries where communication is difficult and by people who have not always attained high levels in school.
One switch, turns on the Gamechanger and after entering the username and password the correct product setup is selected which will have the correct weight and punnet details set up. This only takes about 2 minutes and mushrooms can be placed on the belt while the computer is starting up.
The technique of 2 handed picking and placing of the mushrooms correctly into the cups on each side of the arm, takes about a week to master, but you can see significant progress with some pickers after 2 or 3 days.
Removing and replacing trays at the correct time to ensure the machine is operating optimally can be mastered quickly.
The Multi-lingual commands or warnings are displayed in the selected language with additional multi-lingual voice commands used.
The settings can be changed or options selected by touching the required buttons on the touch screen. An example of the buttons would be Stop/Start belt, Start Break/Stop break, Stalk length options, Mushroom Size options as well as analysis which allows the user to view picking data. The machine automatically shuts down when Logout is pressed.
Many parts can be removed easily for cleaning by a pressure washer and any dirt or waste falls into the bin below so keeping the Gamechanger clean is relatively easy.
Most training for pickers revolves around changing to the technique of 2 handed picking, grazing the mushroom beds and picking the same size of mushrooms. It is important to let pickers use the machine for several days before starting to concentrate on enhancing their grazing and picking.
Reliability and simplicity has been prioritised with the Gamechanger so pickers can concentrate on picking rather than technology.
The Gamechanger is the only viable harvesting solution for existing mushroom farms.
