Delivering Results – Reliability
Picking mushrooms is a 365 days a year, 12+ hours a day operation, which usually starts very early in the morning. With this in mind, the reliability of the Gamechanger is everything. Over the past years we have been continuously working to improve functionality, useability and reliability. Reliability has been the top of the priority list.
To make the Gamechangers reliable we have continuously worked on the following:
a) The software has been adapted to minimize user selection mistakes, whether it is the selection of punnet types, weights and mushroom pickup selection. By making the right selections as easy as possible we can eliminate possible problems before they start.
b) With continuous testing over many years, covering all the different punnet, box and punnet in tray variations, along with different sizes of mushroom we have increased speed and ensured system stability even at high speeds.
c) Electronics, sensors and wiring components have been reduced dramatically compared to previous versions, as we have expanded the software. With many of the cables being of a plug and play variety there are reduced opportunities for system build problems.
d) With all parts of the Gamechanger easily accessible for cleaning and panels detachable for cleaning we ensure dirt does not cause issues.
e) With minimal power requirements and facilities for the hot swapping of batteries, power problems will be basically eliminated.
f) With the new Floor Supported Articulated Lift we have found that the ease of movement from room to room has been vastly improved with an accompanying reduction of possible problems.
We believe that we have the only viable fully integrated solution to greatly enhance picking performance on existing farms and that can work reliably and continuously every day.
